St. Paul Parish Council Nominations
Members of the parish council serve as advisors to the pastor. They also serve as a channel of communication through which questions, insights, views, and plans of and for the parish may be exchanged between parishioners and the pastor. The Pastoral Council is accepting nominations for the three-year (2025 - 2028) term, there are seven open positions. We are asking all parishioners to prayerfully consider whether you, or someone you know, might be called to serve as a Council member. A well-rounded Council consists of a variety of volunteers with varying skills, talents, and experiences.
The obligations of Council members included; attending monthly meetings with the Pastor which are held September through June on the 3rd Tuesday each month. You are also asked to act as a liaison to the various parish ministries. Council members also help with various parish events and take turns reading the announcements at the end of each Sunday Mass.
A new Discernment process will be used this year to select Council members from the list of nominated candidates.
